Terms of Use
Version 2026-10-08-draft · Contact: [support@YOUR-DOMAIN]
1. Educational use only
ChairTime is an educational simulation for practicing therapy skills with fictional clients. It is not clinical supervision, not treatment, and not medical, psychological, or legal advice. AI feedback can be wrong. Discuss real cases with a licensed supervisor.
2. Not for emergencies
ChairTime is not monitored and cannot help in an emergency. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911, or call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the U.S.).
3. No real patient information
You must not enter, upload, or speak any real patient or client information, including names, dates, contact details, or any details that could identify a person. ChairTime is not HIPAA-compliant and is not an electronic health record. The practice planner is for practice data only.
4. Accounts
Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Accounts are by invitation unless the operator opens sign-up.
5. Acceptable use
- No attempts to break, overload, or bypass limits on the service.
- No attempts to extract API keys or other users' data.
- No harassment, illegal content, or misuse of the AI providers' services.
6. Fair-use limits
Daily limits on AI replies and voice usage apply and may change.
7. Third-party services
ChairTime uses third-party AI and voice providers (see the Privacy Policy). Their availability is not guaranteed.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. [Lawyer: adapt for the operating entity and Ohio law.]
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms and will change the version date. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
